It’s that time of the week again, where I take you through all the fashion from the Seven Kingdoms – Westerosi style, of course! As each episode airs, I’m bringing you a re-cap of everything from Melisandre’s red robes to Osha’s hair woes.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Clearly, George R. R. Martin is the worst wedding planner ever. After the ‘Red Wedding’, we now have what is popularly called the ‘Purple Wedding’. Why you ask? Did you see the colour of Joffrey’s face while he died oh-so slowly? While it reached the expected level of ghastliness, it was also exceptionally satisfying. Be as it might, the costumes from this Royal wedding were everything I imagined, and more. Here’s who made the list…

Margaery Tyrell
This one was a no-brainer. Her gown was embellished with roses, thorns and an adequate amount of skin-show you’d expect from the new bride from House Tyrell. Too bad this one can’t keep a husband… or is it?

Ellaria Sand
I feel like she’ll be on this list for every episode. That is, unless they kill her off too. Oberyn Martell’s paramour had me wishing they showed more of her through the episode. The multi-chained headgear, her leather wristband and the gorgeous embellished cape – everyone in Westeros needs a styling lesson from Ellaria.

Sansa Stark
Or shall I call her Sansa Lannister? Either way, am I the only one who feels like she poisoned Joffrey? That being said, you can’t miss her lavender crystal necklace and her elaborate up-do, which looked very similar to something Cersei seemed to be sporting.

Once the episode ended last night, they played a clip about the costumes for the season. From what I saw, we have a lot to expect from our girl Daenerys; it’s still all blue for her, but with some added extravagance – fit for the Iron Throne, maybe? Here’s hoping!

I can hardly sit still, I’m so excited for next week… I sure hope we don’t lose another Lannister (I mean the sharp-witted Tyrion, of course).

What do you think? Who was the best dressed at the glorious Purple Wedding?
