There are so many reasons to watch City Lights as we have already mentioned and look, even Alia Bhatt would agree. Alia recently hosted a special screening of the film for her family and friends along with the cast and crew of the film. What she did not expect was how overwhelming this experience was going to be for her.
Alia was completely awestruck with Rajkumar Rao and Patralekhaa‘s performance, it left her speechless. “I loved the trailer but the film was outstanding! Rajkumar is a National Award winner but Patralekhaa as a debutante has done extremely well. I can’t even think of touching upon that kind of performance!” she exclaimed. She also said that she came out of the theatre crying. “After Highway, I judged the film depending on if people are crying after watching or not. If they cried, I knew they liked it. That’s why when I cried, the director was very happy!” she smiled. Awww Alia!
