If there’s one movie that everyone is talking about currently, it’s Hansal Mehta‘s Citylights. I watched the film last week and was overwhelmed. It definitely left an impact. Alia Bhatt and more recently, Vidya Balan expressed their love for the film after watching it at a special screening. Last night, another screening was held and Kalki Koechlin, Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saqib Saleem and others came forward to cheer the film’s leads, Rajkumar Rao and Patralekhaa.
Although it is Patralekhaa’s debut film, she makes an extremely confident one and moves you with her performance. Her and real-life boyfriend Rajkumar Rao definitely make an extremely talented couple!
You might remember the rumour mills going abuzz with stories of a rift between Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin, thanks to their equation with Anurag Kashyap. While there was no fuel to that fire, unfortunately, Anurag and Kalki will continue being separate. Recently, Anurag confirmed being in a relationship with one of his Bombay Velvet assistant directors.
Huma’s brother, Saqib is close friends with Rajkumar and Patralekhaa and showed his support for the film.
Everyone’s favourite and intense actor/performer, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, usually one to shy away from the paparazzi, posed for a picture too.
And finally, Arbaaz Khan and Dino Morea made an appearance too.
