Fugly has a distinct star cast, distinct songs, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar appearing in the title track and now, here is another surprise! Anshuman Jha from Yeh Hai Bakrapur will be making a special appearance and that too in a negative role, which is the first negative role of his career.
The film has Jha playing a young drug lord and his character is based on a real life person. Says director Kabir Sadanand, “Anshuman will surprise you in my film. It’s a special appearance but a memorable one, I assure you. His look has also been of importance to us as we needed it to be different. His costumes for his 4 scenes and 1 song have cost more then the costume budget of all the other characters put together. Because they had to be high end suits as per the deigned look by Ashley Lobo & Taneeya Oak.” Fancy!
