I guess Prakash Jaju, Priyanka Chopra‘s first manager didn’t receive good news in the mail. She sent a legal notice to Jaju and Aseem Merchant, the producer of Jaju’s biopic. Priyanka is afraid that this film on Prakash Jaju will include portions of her own personal and professional life. According to Mumbai Mirror, the notice, sent by Priyanka’s lawyer Anand Desai states: “Our client is shocked to note that while all the news articles mention the proposed film as your (Jaju’s) biopic, the promotions largely refer to our client and inclusion of aspects of her and her family life rather than references to you. You are intending to collude with Mr Merchant in violation of our client’s rights, including right to privacy, defaming our client and lowering her reputation, seeking to subject her to hatred and ridicule. Our client calls upon you to withdraw all the publicity material of the film with immediate effect, desist using or referring to any personal or confidential information about her and/or her family, desist from producing, releasing the proposed film and tender an unconditional apology to her.”
The tabloid further reports that Aseem maintains, “the film, 67 Days, is a biopic of Priyanka’s ex-manager Jaju”. In 2008, after a fallout with Priyanka, Jaju had been arrested and imprisoned for 67 days. Thus, the name of the film. Jaju himself is okay to drop the film. He says, “If she has still has any objection, then we shall drop the film. I don’t want to hurt her sentiments. The film is about me, not Priyanka. She is just a chapter in that.”
On the other hand, Zareen Khan, who recently launched Amy Billimoria‘s earth collection, didn’t have very pleasant things to say about Sonakshi Sinha to an entertainment news channel. According to Zareen, she had initiated the trend of a voluptuous and curvy figure. But she felt she wasn’t accepted whole-heartedly. She felt that Sonakshi Sinha received a warm welcome and acceptance, despite being curvy, just because she comes from a powerful filmy background.
Well, we’re sorry, Zareen, but looking at this latest picture of Sonakshi in a Farah Sanjana creation, we’ll have to give her this round. Curvy or not, she has been carrying herself with oomph lately. And that’s what really matters.
On a happier note, Minissha Lamba, is flying off for the music festival, Tomorrowland with boyfriend, Ryan Tham. Even though we haven’t seen her in the movies lately, she’s been making appearances at Bollywood events and tweeting about Shah Rukh Khan and current affairs with equal gusto.
