This morning began with Instagram and Twitter exploding with birthday wishes for our favourite fashionista – Sonam Kapoor. We quickly decided to jump onto this birthday-love bandwagon and wish her the happiest birthday!

She’s a complete bookworm
With so many TV shows to catch up on, we barely find time to pick up a book. Sonam however reads up a storm – on flight, between takes, it’s books, books, books. And it’s not all the frivolous 50 Shades of Grey kind, she reads the books that matter as well. So Geek Chic!
She’s a family girl
Her sister is her BFF – you very rarely see her go out of town without Rhea Kapoor in tow. Yes, she’s also her stylist – how cool is that? Sonam is her daddy’s little girl. She supports Anil Kapoor constantly and goes by his every word.
She isn’t afraid to make mistakes
Yes, she might say a few silly things and make mistakes – that’s how you grow! She owns up to them with her head held high – everyone should learn from her.
She works hard
Being an actress isn’t easy. There are shoots that last for weeks and sometimes they keep you awake for days. Sonam Kapoor shows dedication and loves her job; she even finds time to hit the gym in the middle of her crazy schedules.
She supports her peers
