Our very own Humpty Sharma (Varun Dhawan) took his dulhaniya, Alia Bhatt, for a metro ride recently as part of promotions for their upcoming film. They posed for this adorable, super couple-y photo while there, so the photographers definitely had something to capture.
Interesting that they picked the metro for a photo op, but I guess it makes sense. After all, this is the new age Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, so it’s understandable that we’re swapping the train for the metro, right? #upgrade
Unfortunately, though, Alia had a ligament tear while shooting for one of the songs, so she had to hobble her way to the metro (with Varun’s assistance, of course):
Although, I have to say, if Varun Dhawan were assisting me… I’d be okay with a ligament tear.
I also love what Alia’s casual, comfy look. As usual, she manages to look great.
