The grand premiere of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7 was full of new dances, surprises and jazz. The second week just took the awesomeness quotient to a higher level!
The weekend was packed with international dance forms, Ek Villain and Humshakals cast (not to forget Prachi Desai’s hot performance on Awari) and of course, the new international judge Maksim Chmerkovskiy!
Here are the 5 performances that were absolutely delightful this weekend.
1. Mouni Roy & Punit
With a beautifully constructed concept blended with a combination of Rumba and Cuban Balero, Mouni and Punit stole the show with grace!
2. Purab Kohli & Mohena
Purab’s improvement this week on stage was appreciated by the judges too, as they glided gracefully in a Salsa and Lambada performance which was groovy and fun.
3. Shakti Mohan & Tushar
This girl spreads like fire on the floor! Although Maksim did point out that Shakti needs to be more comfortable dancing as a pair than just her individual vibe, their performance as a whole was brilliantly choreographed and looked great on stage.
4. Akshat & Vaishnavi
He is cute and like a lightning bolt! Akshat and Vaishnavi’s Paso Doble combined with Clowning was the most energetic performance on stage this weekend!
5. Sophie Choudry & Deepak
She was in the face off against Andy, competing to stay in the competition. Sophie has recorded a new version of the old song Raat Akeli Hai with Raghav Sachar, and she performed a combination of Bachata and Kizomba to the same song. The duo caught on every beat of the song and it was a mesmerizing act!
