Yet again, Shuddhi is in the news – this time around with the speculation that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been signed in the lead role opposite Salman Khan. Initially, Kareena was supposed to do the movie with Hrithik Roshan, but when Hrithik had to opt out, the project was put on a standstill. Karan Johar, it seems, had a difficult time casting for this film since reportedly Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh all turned it down. However, he found his male lead in Salman and now reports suggest Kareena will be reprising her role. We have to wait for an official confirmation, though, and only then will all the speculations die down.
Speaking of speculations, Preity Zinta seems to be fed up with them! The actress, who recently made a complaint against ex-boyfriend and business partner, Ness Wadia (read the full summary of the situation here) took to her Twitter to express her frustration. She has clarified that she is not selling her stake in Kings XI Punjab and is not moving to the US.
The cast and crew of Dil Dhadakne Do seem to be in better spirits. Judging by the Instagrams, they’re having a lot of fun – there are nightly deck parties! – but it’s not all fun and games. The team is shooting from 6am to 6pm, six days a week, so that they can complete the schedule and return to Mumbai. They are due back July 15th, so it’s still going to be a while. We’re excited to see how this film shapes up!
