The morning has started off with Deepika Padukone‘s new look from her upcoming Finding Fanny. She plays a Goan character named Angie, and from the looks of it, it’s going to be one mad ride. You can check out her entire look here.
Speaking of Deepika, reports suggest that her upcoming Happy New Year is going to be marketed very differently! Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan has come up with the plan to host worldwide shows – along the lines of the popular Temptations series – with the cast of the film. This is supposed to happen in September and October, mainly in the UK, USA and Canada, with approximately 30 shows total. The report continues that, based on calculations, the team could earn about 200 crores before the film even opens in theatres. Meaning that this time, they’re actually going to be earning from their promotional round, instead of just allocating a huge budget. Goes to show that SRKreally is one of the smartest brains in the industry, especially when it comes to marketing his movies.
After Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt (did you listen to her Samjhawan yesterday?), there’s one more actress who is going behind the mic for a film song! Tabu, who stars in Vishal Bhardwaj‘s Haider (the Hamlet remake starring Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha) will be singing a track titled Roshe Valle for the film. It has been composed by Vishal himself.
Yesterday, Priyanka Chopra hosted an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit, which meant that people got to write in with whatever questions they had for the actress, and she picked some questions to respond to. Stay tuned to the blog for a round-up of some of her answers coming soon.
And finally, Kapil Sharma and Kamaal R Khan seem to have had a rather public fight of sorts, complete with threats and abuses! Apparently, KRK received threatening calls from a don on behalf of Kapil. Apparently, Kapil even sent in some tweets to KRK, which he later deleted.
