In the upcoming Bombay Velvet, Anushka Sharma plays the character of Rosie, an aspiring jazz singer. It’s a period film, so you can imagine that the costumes are going to be something else entirely – and there sure will be a lot of them! Designer Niharika Bhasin Khan has designed a total of 144 outfits for the actress, one of which is a 35kg sequinned gown, complete with a long train. Apparently, it took Anushka nearly three hours to dress up for that scene, and she required an assistant duo to help her carry the train. Have a glimpse at this outfit below:
