This wasn’t the first time Akshay Kumar has shown off his vocal abilities, but it was the first time Akshay dedicated a song to the media! The superstar actor recorded a song at the ENZY Studios in Jogeshwari, and the theme of the song was about the word ‘Entertainment,’ naturally being related to his upcoming movie, It’s Entertainment.
Is he following the singing bandwagon that Priyanka Chopra, Shraddha Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt to name the few have joined? Akshay explained, “I like Shraddha’s song in Ek Villain. I believe it is a good thing. It definitely does help promote the movie that we have so painstakingly made. I also think it is a good thing that actors are trying different things like singing, comedy roles, villian roles and exploring more aspects of cinema. Even in Hollywood, they learn how to act along with vocals and in Broadway, actors sing and act at the same time, therefore it is good that we are exploring the same.”
The Khiladi Kumar also revealed that he tunes into his son’s playlists and enjoys instrumental songs as well. Within the song, Akshay dedicated a portion of lines to the media where he included the names of certain media publications! How sweet.
