So, like you know, Ranveer Singh has partnered with the brand Ching’s for a special new music video directed by Shaad Ali… and guys, it is insane. You would think he’d stop surprising us after a while, but no – I still don’t get how he pulls off the things he does. We hope you’ve caught it already, but if you haven’t, check it out below – along with a list of 5 things we absolutely love about it! Because only Ranveer Singh can make a three minute music video on Chinese food products something worth watching (and enjoying).
1. The sets
Clearly, they went all-out with this video – just have a look at the sets! From Maikhana Cafe to Retro Bar to the topless rickshaw, they really went for it.
2. Ranveer Singh’s haircut
His entire look is pretty cray-cray (and something only Raveer could conceivably pull off), but I’m really digging his hairstyle – and it’s also giving me a major baba Arjun Kapoor vibe (tell me I’m not the only one?).
3. Ranveer Singh’s body
We’ll take any excuse we get to see it, even if it’s partly covered by those… contraptions.
4. This nagin dance move
This might be my second favourite Ranveer Singh dance move, after Tattad Tattad. Of course it’s been choreographed by Ganesh Acharya!
5. Ranveer’s “Manchow Rap”
While Gulzar has written the lyrics for the rest of this song (which is quite crazy in itself), Ranveer has penned the lyrics for his Manchow Rap roughly halfway into the video. He’s also sung it himself, adding – as the press release says – his own “Schezwani zing to the chartbuster.” (Psst: Arijit Singh has sung the rest of the song.)
