All you girls out there who are fans of reading about B-town catfights, here’s a piece of information which is NOT for you! This one’s for those who believe in happy endings! Wondering what I’m talking about? Well, I am referring to a recent event which affirms that there’s absolutely no animosity between the two Bollywood beauties, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.
The latter made several heads turn when she walked into the screening of Finding Fanny staring the former. All wasn’t well between the two until a while ago but things seem to have taken a new turn now. Though it’s possible that Sona dropped in at the event only to support her cousin Arjun Kapoor, one can’t help but notice the fact that the film also features Dippy, who was present at the event too.
Both the gorgeous actresses had made their Bollywood debuts in the same year (Om Shanti Om and Saawariya) and they had set tongues wagging with their bitchy remarks on a certain Mr. Kapoor at a popular chat show on television a few years ago. Yes, we are talking about Ranbir Kapoor! Both the girls were quite fond of each other till Dippy patched up with RK Jr. and then also attended his birthday party (for which Sona wasn’t even invited)!
Things went awry between the two and that’s when a cold war commenced. Both the heroines were managed by the same PR agency and apparently, Sona felt that more importance was given to Dippy and therefore, changed her publicist.
When asked about what Deepika has which she hasn’t, Sonam had blatantly answered, ‘An over-enthusiastic PR team’. Naturally, that ruined things between the two even further and the duo wasn’t in talking terms with each other ever since.
However, looks like Sona has decided to let bygones be bygones and that’s why she decided to make a public appearance at the screening of Dippy’s latest outing, Finding Fanny.
