Sliders, half-tucks, normcore, side-knot – some of these words might sound like gibberish to a few people, but they’re actually fashion terms and styles and are used on a everyday basis. Take Deepika Padukone for instance. She’s worn a slightly distressed pair of jeans and thrown on a shimmering Shane & Falguni Peacock jacket. What caught my eye is the Forever 21 tank top.
It’s a pretty basic grey tank. What’s great about it is the way it’s tucked. Look carefully; it isn’t fully left out and it isn’t all tucked in – it’s just semi tucked from the front and that small detail makes all the difference.
I’m loving the look, and jacket or not, she looks great! So next time you feel boring in your plain tank and jeans, take cue from Ms Padukone and just tuck it a little on the side for some instant style.
