Yesterday, we shared the new song of Haider with you guys. Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have totally killed it with their oozing sensuality in the romantic number! Doesn’t their chemistry look so real and natural? While a performance like this is expected from a experienced and talented actor like Sasha, the five film old Shraddha definitely blew us away with her acting chops in this scene. But apparently, the girl was a tad reluctant before shooting this sequence.
According to a report, she was quite hesitant in French kissing Shahid Kapoor on screen (unlike her ABCD 2 co-star Varun Dhawan, who is more than okay with kissing her on camera). However, director Vishal Bhardwaj made her so confident that she ended up doing an entire lovemaking scene. We definitely aren’t complaining about it!
Even the Dil Dhadakne Do crew members aren’t complaining despite working till late night several times. That’s because Farhan Akhtar and the film’s producer Ritesh Sidwani have made sure that all the the crew members, especially the women, get a drop back home every time their shooting schedule extends up to 10:30 pm or more. We know how Farhan had launched the Men Against Rape and Discrimination (MARD) campaign and showed his concern towards women’s safety. Now, it’s quite good to see that he practises what he preaches as rightly stated by a leading daily. Kudos to the actor!
Another actor who deserves kudos from all of us is Farhan’s close friend Hrithik Roshan. The actor has written an open letter requesting everyone to raise funds and lend a helping hand towards the victims of the recent floods in Jammu and Kashmir. Now that the Ice Bucket Challenge fever has finally commenced to fade off, let’s all unite and support this cause which needs our immediate attention.
Another thing that caught our attention recently is how actresses on today’s day and age assert that acting is their priority and they wish to do a lot more than just looking pretty. Sonam Kapoor thinks that her image of a fashionista has hampered her credibility as an actor as the audience has forgotten the fact that she’s an actress and not just a style icon.
And her contemporary, Parineeti Chopra insists that she finds it insulting when people call her ‘bubbly’ and not anything else. Well, the bundles of talent you girls are, we’re sure you will soon prove your mettle to your detractors (just like you’ve already proved it to us) and emerge triumphant!
