I’ve been giving you constant updates on Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra’s ongoing promotional event for Daawat-e-Ishq, Food Yatra. And many of you’ve been asking for pictures of their journey. Well, your wish is our command – here’s a pictorial glimpse of day 1 of Adi and Pari’s fun food trip.
A brief account of Food Yatra Day 1
They flagged off their journey from Madras Cafe in Mumbai after gorging on some yummy South-Indian food and filter coffee. During their road trip, Pari spotted a stream and dragged Adi and other unit members to get off the bikes and enjoy the view. Apparently, both the actors were even clicking each other’s pictures there and the actress was rather impressed with her co-star’s photography skills. After that the two relished a Parsi lunch at Parsi da Dhaba in Talasari and had a hearty meal of mutton dhansak, patra ni machchi, achari chicken and kheema half fry.
Aditya loved the food so much there that he packed and sent some for his mom as she’s a fan of Parsi food too. After their lunch, the duo spotted a girls’ school opposite the dhaba. They rushed to meet them when they came to know that the girls had been waiting to meet them. After spending some time with them, the two proceeded to Surat and found their fans waiting for them at Ice Cream centre.
So their day 1 ended on a sweet note with ice cream and loads of love from their fans. Keep an eye on this space for more details about their 5-day long Food Yatra.
