Don’t we all love our townie boy Aditya Roy Kapur for his complete nonchalance? There’s something about him that sets him apart from the other B-town boys. The South Mumbai guy has admitted many times that he has seen a very few Bollywood films.
Also, having been born and brought up in a rather affluent background, this heartthrob has always been miles away from the real India. Doesn’t it sound a lot like Alia Bhatt’s character Veera from Highway?
And it seems his life journey is also slightly akin to hers. Aditya, who’s currently on a roadtrip for the Daawat-e-Ishq Food Yatra is undergoing a life-changing experience at the moment. Apparently, the actor had never seen the real India so closely before.
A source from the film’s production house says, “Aditya usually dreads movie promotions as they always entail giving interviews, visiting malls and attending press conferences. This food trip has been like a breath of fresh air for him. He’s visiting new places, meeting and interacting with new people and truly loving it. He has never had an experience like this before. Both Aditya and Parineeti Chopra are having the time of their lives. So they are quite thankful to Aditya Chopra for giving them this opportunity.”
Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra have already travelled 1800 kms by road passing Surat, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Agra.
