Sad news for Saraswatichandra fans. We already told you recently that the show is wrapping up soon and now the official date for when its last episode will air is out. The team shot for their last episode yesterday, which is going to air on the 20th of September.
The show was originally produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and was based on a Gujarati novel by the same name. However, it suffered low TRPs in the beginning and that resulted in a change of producers.
Even though the show never got spectacular ratings, the lead pair of the show, Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget, made it right to our hearts. Their chemistry was crackling on screen and they were a delight to watch on the show. Thankfully for the fans, Saraswatichandra will end on a rather sweet note. It will see the lovely couple Saras and Kumud become parents to a cute baby girl. Aww.
Gautam took to Twitter to share this official news and also shared some wonderful pictures of the crew and of him with Jennifer. As Saras and Kumud will become parents to a newborn in the last episode, they’re dressed in hospital scrubs and are looking cute as ever.
Rode also posted to Twitter saying that he’d be back to work on the 24th of this month and that will be a beginning of a new journey. We wonder what he’s talking about but we’ll find out for you asap. Winget has been busy refuting her divorce rumours with Karan Singh Grover. However, no announcements have been made about her next work commitment yet.
