Like we needed more reasons to love Deepika Padukone! The babe, who recently earned all our respect with the open letter she wrote, is sizzling in the brand new song in Happy New Year!
The teaser of Deepika’s much awaited HNY item number Lovely released recently and left us asking for more! And now the wait is over. The full video is out and we must say, we absolutely love it.
The song opens with the iconic “Mohini Mohini” chant from Tezaab that is still synonymous with Madhuri Dixit! Interestingly, Farah Khan was part of the choreographing team of Ek Do Teen as well. Well, life sure comes a full circle.
Unsurprisingly, Farah has done a cracking job at choreographing this song as well, and you just cannot take your eyes off Deepika! She looks stunning throughout the song and is seen doing some spectacular aerial stunts in the video. Shah Rukh Khan and Abishekh Bachchan also make a brief appearance in the song, but barely take notice as Deepika is just looking THAT hot.
The song is a groovy number and is sure to find a way into your playlist. The video, we feel, has a very Sheila Ki Jawani vibe to it at some places. Especially when the crowd is cheering for Mohini with alcohol in their hands; very la Jumma Chumma.
