Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai sizzled onscreen 12 years ago in Sanjay Bhansali‘s magnum opus Devdas as Devdas and Paro. Can you believe it has been that long? The duo was supposed to come together in Chalte Chalte in 2003. But the rumour was that, because Aish’s then boyfriend Salman Khan created a scene on the sets, she was let go and Rani Mukerji was roped in.
Just when we thought the lovely duo will never share screen space again, we heard some pleasant news! Rohit Shetty recently announced that he has roped in King Khan for for his next film. And now, if sources are to believed, he is very close to sign the Bachchan bahu for the project. Isn’t that exciting?
Though there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, buzz is that Shetty is pretty close to sealing the deal with Aish. If that works out, the dream couple will recreate their onscreen magic and we can absolutely not wait for it!
Also, now that Aish is happily married to Abishekh Bachchan, who also happens to be good friends with SRK, there really shouldn’t be any unforseen ‘incidents’ on sets.
