Yes, girls I can already hear you screaming as I write the obvious – concert season is here and I am as excited as you are, however you’re probably confused about what you should wear.
Let me tell you, the most common mistake you can make when it comes to concert dressing is overdoing it. Less is more and let’s try sticking to that! Don’t panic because we are helping you with the best styling tips to make sure you look super cute and not like a hot mess for the upcoming concerts.

Warning: Avoid heels at all times to ensure safety.

1. BE MINIMALISTIC

It’s not okay to end up throwing on too many colours, prints, and sundry accessories to stand out. Keep it simple. A plain coloured dress, clinched waist belt, gladiator flats and sunnies can make up for a perfect outfit. You may also add an oversized shirt (denim or tartan) to get your look going.

2. BE BOLD

Crop tops are trending and we have perviously demonstrated how to wear one the right way. Don’t dare to bare it all, however showing a little bit of skin does absolutely no harm. Pair a printed pair of high-waisted shorts with a crop, showing just the right amount of skin while still looking chic and stylish.
Tip: Print on print could work great as long as you know how to do it right!

3. BE A ROCK REVOLUTION

If you want to fashion an instant stylish look, your quickest way to it would be an out of bed look. Don’t look like you tried too hard. A leather skater skirt paired with your basic bedtime graphic-tee and booties make for a fabulous outfit. Keep your hair messy and you are ready to rock ‘n’ roll.

4. BE VIBRANT

It’s true, concerts are the only place you can rock your craziest outfits. We love how Kendall Jenner incorporated a statement nose ring and a headgear to add a feminine touch to her overall sporty look.

Tip: Going for a matching set up and down is great and you might just get extra points for pulling off a single print in multiple pieces and yet making it look ladylike.

5. BE AN ALL ROUNDER

You might want to deck up that outfit a little if you are planning to hit a party/club after the concert. Go for blacker tones that will keep your look toned down yet party appropriate at the same time. Team your denim bottoms with a kimono jacket or throw on a cutout maxi dress like Selena Gomez with boots to add a little bit of that 60’s sex appeal.

PS: Accessorise in your own way to add a preppy twist. Take inspiration below.
