Bang Bang
Bang Bang

Bang Bang is, without a doubt, one of the most awaited films of 2014. There are several reasons we’ve been looking forward to it, and now that we’re only a day away from the release, excitement is at an all-time high! We’re happy to be associated with this film and hope you’ll all go catch it in theatres tomorrow. So if you need a little more convincing – which we doubt – then here are 6 reasons we think you should definitely be catching this one in cinemas. Let us know why you’re looking forward to it in the comments below!

1. The entertainment value: We’ve had a slow week at the movies, and even though the past week saw several releases, nothing has really pulled in the audiences. But that’s about to change, as Bang Bang is an out-and-out commercial, family entertainer, and is a good pick for those looking forward to some pure entertainment.

2. Never seen before action sequences: The action sequences in Bang Bang has been a huge talking point, and there’s already a great buzz around the film’s amazing scale and action. As we’ve showed you in exclusive stills, both Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif have pulled off incredible stunts in the film. That’s something worth checking out for sure!

3. The super-hot and super-hit pairing: Not only are they separately two of the most successful actors in Bollywood, but they’ve also shown us that they make a fantastic pair together. Their last film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, did very well, and their pairing was much appreciated. We’re looking forward to seeing this chemistry on screen again – especially since, from what we’ve seen, it’s off-the-charts!

4. Super-hit music: Tu Meri is one of those songs that don’t leave your head, Meherbaan is that sweet song we like to listen to when we’re in a romantic mood, and the Bang Bang title track is something you want to watch again and again just to see those dance moves.

5. Hrithik is back to his dancing best: Speaking of dance moves, who wouldn’t want to see Hrithik Roshan dance on the big screen? He’s baaack in a full-on dance avatar and we’re loving it. His tribute to MJ in the title track has become a huge hit, and this is the first time we’re seeing him go all-out with his dancing since Dhoom 2.

6. The best in the industry have worked in the film: Bang Bang‘s script has been written by Sujoy Ghosh (of Vidya Balan‘s Kahaani fame), the dialogues have been penned by Abbas Tyrewala (director of Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na), the music has been composed by the talented Vishal-Shekhar, the choreography done by the amazing Bosco- Caesar, costumes by Anaita Adajania (how fabulous has she made Katrina look?!), the action by Andy Armstrong (who directed action sequences for The Amazing Spiderman 2), and the direction by Siddharth Anand, who has previously made big-canvas films like Bachna Ae Haseeno.

Bang Bang hits theatres tomorrow (Thursday!) the 2nd of October. Are you going to watch it?
