While we all know that Sasha Irrfan and Tabu are phenomenal actors and were bound to leave the audience in awe with their power packed performances, Shraddha’s act in the movie has been a pleasant surprise to one and all.
Naturally, it’s showering praises for the girl from all quarters. From esteemed film critics to our B-town celebs – everyone has only good things to say about Shraddha and her performance in Haider. Even the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, who attended a special screening of the flick, couldn’t stop praising her.
The pretty lass essays the character of a young Kashmiri journalist in the movie and this was easily the most challenging role for her to date. Naturally, she’s overwhelmed with all the positive feedback coming her way and is currently beaming with joy. While her phone hasn’t stopped buzzing ever since the movie has released, her Twitter timeline is also flooded with congratulatory messages and compliments for her incredible act.
Several Bollywood bigwigs also went all out to appreciate the young talent.
Ayushmann Khurrana tweeted, “Watched #Haider. Vishal sir take a bow! @ShraddhaKapoor is so natural & pretty in the film! And what a legendary act by @shahidkapoor! Woot”

Her co-star from the same film, Irrfan was also enthralled by her act in the movie. He tweeted, “Shraddha is ethereal in @Haidermovie. She looks as if she was born in Kashmir. And What brilliant performance.”
