Do you think happy endings are overrated? I totally believe so! Yes, as a kid, I did wish for Shah Rukh Khan‘s speedy recovery while watching Kal Ho Na Ho because I wasn’t mentally prepared to see his character, Aman die. That was then. The big bad world has changed the way I look at things over the years. But after watching the trailer of Happy Ending starring Saif Ali Khan, Govinda and Ileana D’Cruz, I’ve a feeling that I might go back to being how I used to be as a teenager when I see this flick.
We’ve previously seen Saifoo playing a cartoonist-turned-author in Hum Tum and he’s going to be essaying the character of a writer yet again in this one. His pairing with Ileana is like a breath of fresh air and I’ve a feeling this breezy rom-com will easily strike a chord with the youth. Also, Ileana’s super sexy geek-chic avatar is going to grab eyeballs too.
The movie also features Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey and even Nawab Saif’s Begum Kareena Kapoor. Govinda’s comic timing is awesome as ever and it’s definitely going to be treat to watch his camaraderie with Saif.
