Ungli is all set to release and going by the promos, one can pretty much see that Emraan Hashmi is maintaining his core value well. No wonder, the competition around him in the form of emerging talent doesn’t deter him from what he stands for.Emraan says:
“Eventually I do what I believe in. I look at it in a very positive way. I don’t constantly look over my shoulder in the race and see who is running by my side. You know that there are people around you, so be it. I keep doing my work.”
However, he isn’t making any conscious effort to reinvent himself for the sake of it.
“It’s not like that I will stop working, start contemplating and change my priorities about the kind of films that I do. As a matter of fact, I am the only guy who does the kind of films I stand for. That’s where the exclusivity factor comes in. No one does an Emraan Hashmi kind of film. Of course everyone does indulge in dance, drama, fight, action, comedy and romance but I am blessed with the fact that I do certain kind of films and I have certain audience who like watching my kind of films. I kind of monopolize in my genre.”Well said!
