As I have said before, we all love Disney and for good reason! Our childhood is not dark and disturbing mostly because of the fairytales our moms read to us, showing that the world can be magical. Now, I don’t really believe in fairytales but I do believe that our Bollywood stud boys have full potential to be remarkable Disney princes. So on the lines of our heroines being perfect Disney princesses, check out the male version of my list of Disney favourites cast in Bollywood!
1) Aladdin – Ranveer Singh
Ranveer Singh has been a favourite since the time he burst into the silver screen with his incredible performance in Band Baaja Baarat. To be honest, this guy can fit in any profile but the toughest was to choose between Aladdin and Flynn Ryder for Ranveer, so I tossed the coin and chose Aladdin (Deepika Padukone is my Jasmine, remember?). He’d be perfect! But, you know, he’d still make a fantastic Flynn Ryder. Just check it out:
Only Ranveer could be TWO princes for us. *sigh*
2) Prince Charming – Fawad Khan
Hello – whoever has a problem with this, please go watch Khoobsurat again! Just gooo! If Rashmi (from Team MissMalini) had her way, she’d cast Fawad Khan for every Disney prince role out there. Also check out legitimate reasons why he’s awesome here.
3) Prince Philip – Ranbir Kapoor
The good looking prince who fights off every threat that comes his way to kiss Princess Aurora out of her deep sleep. Who else but Ranbir Kapoor can play this swoon-worthy man? I will admit that Katrina Kaif playing the Sleeping Beauty (in my world) had a LOT to do with Ranbir being her prince!
4) Prince Eric – Sidharth Malhotra
Imagine Sidharth Malhotra with big blue eyes… hypnotize… kardi hai menoo. Okay will stop, but seriously Sidharth is meant to play the good looking, helpful and overall sex god Prince Eric. You have to be a sex god to be attractive enough for a mermaid (who is a princess, no less) to give up her voice for a pair of legs, don’t you think?
5) Flynn Ryder – Varun Dhawan
What does it take to play everyone’s favourite Disney prince? Good looks? Check! A sharp nose? Check! An incredible smile? Check check check! Varun Dhawan you are the perfect desi Flynn Ryder, can I be your Rapunzel? Can we get ‘tangled‘ together? Is this line inappropriate for children?
6) Hercules – Hrithik Roshan
Golden hair, blue eyes and a body to die for! I think Hrithik Roshan would play a better Hercules than the animated hero we all know so well.
7) Beast – Arjun Kapoor
Hehe so Beast-ly! Now check this out.
What a wonderful transformation!
Arjun Kapoor is the perfect combination of hot and wild. However creepy and somewhat corny that sounds, we all know that this guy can be perfect as the reclusive, misunderstood beast who actually has a heart of gold. On top of that, you can see that he transforms rather well, doesn’t he?
8) Peter Pan – Aamir Khan
Because they both don’t age!
9) Prince Naveen – Randeep Hooda
Because no one can play a tall, dark and handsome prince better than Randeep Hooda, and whoever doubts that….

10) Kristoff – Sushant Singh Rajput
Understated, tough, helpful and HOT! Sushant Singh Rajput is perfect as the underrated yet amazing Kristoff from Frozen. I have casted Parineeti Chopra as Anna (in the one with the ladies) and knowing how great these two look together, I’m sure yehi hai right choice baby.
