Love him or hate him, you just can’t ignore him! Gautam Gulati is clearly one of the more entertaining contestants in the Bigg Boss 8 house. He is definitely my favourite, along with Pritam. Gulati’s claim to fame was his role in the immensely popular Diya Aur Baati Hum, where he plays the cheeky brother to Sandhya.
Earlier this year, Gauatm had walked the prestigious red carpet of the Cannes International Film Festival – making him the first male actor for TV to do that. Isn’t that amazing?
Gautam comes from a theatre background and he had the opportunity to be part of Cannes thanks to Rakesh Mehta‘s film Coward (Darpok). Gautam walked the red carpet in style and looked very dapper in a sharp tuxedo. About the film, Gautam had said:
Everybody loved the movie and appreciated my work during the screening of this movie. This movie is going for Cannes and I am happy and very excited about it. It’s an intense movie which got tears in everybody’s eyes. After the screening of this movie, people came to me and appreciated my work.
Not just that, before this film, Gautam has been a part of the biggest Sri Lankan blockbuster Siddhartha – The Buddha.
A high rated daily soap, red carpet appearances and now a super succesful stint on Bigg Boss, looks like there’s no stopping this man!
