Guess Who
Guess Who?

Talk about real life meeting reel life. This youngster, who will be seen playing a man trapped between two women in his upcoming release, has faced a somewhat similar situation in real life as well. One of his female fans, who has been mighty impressed (or shall we say, obsessed?) with him ever since the trailer of this film went online, has been a little too pushy with him for a while now.

The man in question is Karanvir Sharma, a popular name in the advertisement circuit, who would be seen in Anubhav Sinha‘s Zid where he is the center of attraction for Mannara and Shraddha Das.

“Though it can’t be termed as stalking per se, well at least as yet, the fact remains that after an initial period of feeling a little high about the attention he was getting, Karanvir is now a tad wary about how to address this situation any further. This girl has been sending tweets at a rapid pace and expects a response each time around. She has also managed to get ahold of his personal mobile number and keeps texting him incessantly. WhatsApp is one tool which she is using to the fullest in order to gain communication with Karanvir,” informs our source.

The young actor, who is not new to attention from his female fans (considering his rather long stint with the world of advertisements), took it lightly to begin with. As a matter of fact, he also enjoyed the attention for a brief period. However, he is now left wondering if action on this is required sooner or later.

When contacted, Karanvir didn’t deny this encounter.

“See, you do feel high in the initial time period on realizing that someone is obsessed with you. When this girl got a little interested in me after just seeing the trailer, I took it as a fan thing. I won’t deny that I started feeling important. It was exciting and thrilling too,” Karanvir makes a candid revelation.

However, he managed to take a quick stock of reality pretty soon and thought it was time to pull the plug.

“Honestly, she hasn’t been all that pushy to makes me worried. However, when I felt that it got a little too much, it was time to get back to reality. See, such kind of affection could turn into obsession in no time. What is good today could turn bad tomorrow. I don’t want my real life to get impacted by such encounters. It is better to take a stand,” declares Karanvir.

Of course, the actor is not willing to reveal the name yet. “Who would benefit from that? I guess it is best in everyone’s interest that all settles down by itself. It all boils down to how you draw a line.”

Now, isn’t that a line straight out of his Zid, which carries the same theme of obsession where Mannara comes in the life of Karanvir and Shraddha Das, while doing enough to create havoc?

We would know soon!
