To mark the celebration of the successful completion of 21 years of Aap Ki Adaalat, the three Khans – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan – came together on stage in Delhi for the VERY first time. While we have already shared with you the 5 Reasons The Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan & Salman Khan Reunion Is Just What The World Needed, I am having serious second thoughts after watching the show.

But before I start ranting about how disappointed I am, I want to take this moment to congratulate the iconic Rajat Sharma for successfully interviewing, accusing, sometimes even mocking top personalities ranging from celebrities to sportspersons to politicians to industrialists (and Baba Ramdev!). He gets them on the radar, making them extremely uncomfortable with questions “jinka jawaab janta chahti hai”! I think the guests of the show share a love-hate relationship with him considering they keep coming back time and again to face it all.

Anyway, coming to the point, disappointment is an understatement to define how I felt when I saw the simulcast of the show on December 7. It was dull, boring, unfunny and everything it shouldn’t have been. Sonu Nigam (who by the way did a really good job as the show host) invited SRK on stage, who called Salman to join him – and how. He made a not-so-subtle comment about Salman’s association with courts saying, “Main apne dost aur superstar jinka court-kacheri se zyada vaasta hai, Salman Khan ko stage par bulana chahunga.” Ouch! I don’t know about Salman, but I was sure hurt.

Also, seeing the two of them together didn’t feel anything like Karan-Arjun. I guess even Salman got bored of SRK’s antics on stage (the usually witty SRK had to try really hard to be funny that night but failed miserably) and prompted Aamir to join him, who made an acknowledgment (but very half-heartedly, might I add). Although Mr. PK was all smiles on stage, his actions told a different story. I am sure, like me, even he was waiting for the show to end.

I may have smiled a little watching the ‘towel’ dance the three did with Rajat Sharma before leaving the stage but I don’t know if I was happy about that or the fact that it was over!
