After the Stardust Awards 2014 which took place last night, we couldn’t wait to see what some our fave beauty queens strutted on the red carpet – And boy, we weren’t disappointed! We picked some of the outfits we thought were most memorable – check out these divas and their glitzy, eye-catching ensembles!
1) Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez was caught on camera at the Stardust Red Carpet in an Amit Aggarwal gown featuring a glittery structured train. She added a midi ring and bracelet from Valliyan and completed her look with candy red lips. We’re not so sure about the back of Jacqueline’s dress, it’s almost as if there is too much happening all at once, but kudos to the beauty for making a rather glittery statement! What do you think?
2) Sophie Choudry
Sophie Choudry strutted down the red carpet in a lace Tanieya Khanuja gown. She accessorized with a gold trim clutch and matching gold earrings. Rather sleek indeed!
3) Huma Qureshi
Huma Qureshi wore a strapless Gauri and Nainika gown from the Spring 2015 collection. We don’t quite know about the white detailing on her gown (symmetrically odd) – but we loved the ear-cuff and ring, both from Roots Atelier!
4) Kriti Sanon
Kriti Sanon‘s body did Swapnil Shinde’s dull gold gown absolute justice at the Stardust Awards! That back is to die for! She accesorised aptly with hot pink lips and a Metamorphosis clutch.
5) Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti Chopra donned a turquoise Gauri and Nainika gown. We particularly loved the silhouette and fall of this gown, though overall, we feel the charismatic diva could have gone with something a little more alluring perhaps. Are you guys feeling me?
6) Bipasha Basu
Bipasha Basu looked rather elegant in her black Namrata Joshipura gown with a futuristic cuff from Isharya and Curio Cottage earrings. I particularly love the little bit of leg she is showing off – very sexy!
7) Neha Dhupia
Neha Dhupia‘s white Anamika Khanna draped dress, which she wore with a white clutch and victorian style jewellery from Anmol paired with nude Louboutins, was one-of-a-kind – to say the least!
8) Sonali Bendre
Sonali Bendre very beautifully carried off an Arpita Mehta Skirt and designed top, accessorising with a Bottega Veneta knot clutch. Though we feel the skirt would have looked even more dashing, had it been worn slightly higher!
9) Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone looked dainty in a Dior gown at the Stardust Awards. The pale pink strapless gown was paired with citron diamond earrings from Anmol and a ring from Gehna. But with a killer body like Deeps, we feel she could have easily ventured beyond the safe premises of a simple, dress-like gown! We definitely wanted more from this leading lady of B-town, didn’t you?
10) Sonam Kapoor
There was no ignoring this stunning Elie Saab Couture gown worn ever so elegantly by Sonam Kapoor. Sonam wore her hair in a voluminous bun, added bright pink lips and was glowing (literally). She completed her look with ear-cuffs from Farah Khan Fine Jewellery and a black Corto Moltedo clutch. This was definitely our Stardust Awards Red Carpet fav <3
We think all these B-town ladies had something unique on display and applaud their beautifully put together ensembles!
