At this point it’s safe to assume that J.K Rowling always wins Twitter. She wins at life. She wins everything. If you’re a fellow Potter Head, like most of us in Team MissMalini, then Harry Potter was your safe haven as you transitioned from child to pre-teen to adult. In fact, whenever I’m feeling down and out, I just read or watch a little Harry Potter for a quick pick me up.

It still surprises me that I learn a new life lesson every single time I reread the books or sit through a Harry Potter movie marathon. Which brings me to this: earlier this week, the author revealed that there definitely was a Jewish student at Hogwarts: Anthony Goldstein. This prompted a series of tweets on the LGBT community:

My mind is blown. This poster was actually created by a convention, but if only the world was so much more like Hogwarts and the world of Harry Potter, where hope and bravery overcomes evil.
