Team MissMalini had a little chat with Karan Johar at the launch of his new collaboration: KJo For Gehna. (Although, on Episode 7 Of #MMWorld, Karan told us he hates being called KJo. So, hmm…) The star-studded event at Aqaba, Lower Parel was hosted by the Gehna Jewellers family, Kiran and Sunil Datwani. Jewellery is the final adornment on any kind of costuming I’ve done for my movies.
On The Ideal Woman For His Jewellery…
Alia Bhatt is representative for the younger generation, so I’m going to make her wear lot of Gehna.
On Fashion…
If you want to be comfortable, sleep in your pajamas. If you want to go out, be fashionable.
On His Favorite Pieces In The Line…
I love the ear cuffs and the ring bracelets.
We also had the chance to rub shoulders with the host for the night, the lovely, RJ Malishka and a great style panel: Ileana D’Cruz, Nimrat Kaur and Neeta Lulla. In fact, Neeta Lulla designed clothing inspired by Karan’s jewelry for the final showcase. Take a look!
