Can you believe it’s been 7 whole years since Jab We Met released? 7 years since we last saw the former couple on screen – if you don’t count Milenge Milenge, which we really don’t. Interestingly, when the film released, the couple – Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor – had already broken up and the film went on to become a huge success. Funny, how things turn out, right?Anyway, looks like producer Vishal Bhardwaj has done the unthinkable. He’s bringing the two back together again. Why is it unthinkable, you ask? Because Kareena has gone on record to say that she’d prefer never working with Shahid again. All that’s going to change now as Abhishek Chaubey (who directed Ishqiya, Dedh Ishqiya) has reportedly roped in Kareena for his next project Udta Punjab with Shahid in the lead.
However, Kareena won’t be cast opposite Shahid. Apparently, Alia and Shahid will be romancing each other on screen. So is that to say that Kareena won’t be the leading lady? Ouch. Well, nothing is revealed as of now but I am eagerly awaiting all details.We have seen ex flames Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone set the screens on fire last year with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Will Shahid and Kareena be able to follow suit?Wait and watch!
