R Balki‘s much awaited Shamitabh starring Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush has created quite a buzz with the behind the scenes pictures the cast has been sharing on their social media. The movie also marks the debut of Akshara Hassan – the younger daughter of Kamal Hassan. With such powerful performers especially Dhanush and Amitabh-Balki’s history of amazing cinema (Cheeni Kum, Paa), Shamitabh is something I am really looking forward to.
Big B shared his film’s first posters on his Twitter and man, they’re bloody cool!
The poster reveals that the name of the film has been derived from its leads names – Sh as a prefix was added to Amitabh. Not much has been revealed about the plot of film but rumour has it that Dhanush will be playing a character that’s dumb and deaf. Like that wasn’t enough, the posters have left me really intrigued.
