You may have heard reports that Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif will be starring in a film together, and it looks like that is actually happening! Interestingly enough, from what I hear, it was none other than Ranbir Kapoor who suggested that they work together. This happened casually during one party – RK mentioned to Sidharth that there’s a film where Anushka Sharma was supposed to be the lead, but the makers were looking for a replacement. It seems Sid actually took interest, followed up, and read the story for the project. He even got in touch with Katrina and they spoke about how they should do the film, given the fact that they have never been paired together.
It’s not just that, though – Sid and Kat were also offered another film in early 2013, which didn’t end up happening because it also had another actress and Kat didn’t want to share space with another female lead. However, this current film will not have any other female actress and Katrina is quite excited about working on it. And to top it all off, common friend Karan Johar also agrees that Sid and Kat will look good on the big screen.
This will be something to look out for!
