You may have been reading a lot of reports doing the rounds that brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri has convinced Salman Khan to star in the Bodyguard sequel. However, here’s the real story: Salman hasn’t quite given the green signal to the film just yet.
While Atul and team may be planning a sequel, Salman is in no rush to sign the film. This is because he doesn’t want Bodyguard to be another Dabangg, where they make films just to rake in money at the box office. Thank God, right?
In fact, Salman has clearly told the creative team that he won’t do the film unless he’s convinced about the storyline. Not only that, but he’s also of the opinion that they should cast a new girl, rather than using an established face. And if you’re wondering about Kareena Kapoor, then no, that’s not likely to happen – the story is apparently brand-new and won’t require that the actress be a part of it. However, Bebo has jokingly told Salman that she’s more than happy to be involved in the project if there’s anything for her to do in it!
