It’s no secret that the Karishma Tanna-Upen Patel relationship has escalated rather quickly. Post her eviction, Sana Khan resonated my views when she said that the whole thing happened way too suddenly.
Like most people have noted, even after Upen was evicted the first time around, Karishma had maintained that she had a boyfriend that she was committed to. Clearly, that ship has sailed. Dimpy Ganguly recently revealed that the reason Karishma has chosen Upen suddenly is because Upen told Tanna that her boyfriend, Rushabh Choski’s lounge, Escobar had caught fire – making him currently unstable on the financial front. Uh.
Well, the duo is clearly following the “haters gonna hate” policy because they just can’t seem to keep their hands off each other. In last night’s episode, after their PDA overdose, they sat down to talk about slightly serious things. Upen told her that he left everything to come back on the show for her and confess his feelings to her.
Now that is just odd!
Firstly, because when we caught up with Upen before his re-entry, he told us that the reason for his return was “public demand”. And secondly, how is confessing your love on national television for someone you’ve known for only a couple of months (on a reality show, no less!) your plan A?
Meanwhile, Karishma is concerned about officially breaking up with Rushabh once she is out of the house. I don’t want to go out on a limb here, but I have a slight inkling that Rushabh might already know *dramatic roll of eyes*. Furthermore, Karishma is worried about how her mother will react to her new relationship.
I love how mothers have had a role to play in this season’s Bigg Boss! First Gautam Gulati‘s mother shared her opinion about his growing closeness with Diandra Soares, and now this.
While Mommy Tanna’s verdict on Karishma’s new relationship is much awaited, I would pay good money to watch her mum’s reaction to the plot twist in this video. Wouldn’t you?
