Amitabh Bachchan has always aced whatever he has chosen to do. While everyone was still tripping on the super groovy song Piddly from his upcoming movie Shamitabh, Amit ji has gone ahead and outdone himself yet again.
On the weekend leading up to Republic Day, Bachchan starred in a video where he sang the National Anthem at the Jorasanko Thakurbari, the ancestral home of Rabindranath Tagore. His ode to Jan Gan Man will truly give you goosebumps.
About the song, Amit ji said:
As Rabindranath Tagore wrote the song, we thought why not shoot it where Gurudev was born. Shoojit Sircar has shot the song. I am proud to have sung this one.
