Salman Khan has had major security issues in Mandawa, where he was up until just a few days ago, shooting for Kabir Khan‘s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. My source informs me that about two weeks ago there was a breach of security on multiple occasions. Local boys posing as fans tried to enter into an area cordoned off only for Salman to use. Interestingly, though, the problem is actually due to Salman – the actor tries to meet and pose with everyone who approaches him, and that turns out to be quite the issue! Here’s what a source from the sets said:
Unlike other stars, Salman is sweet and will oblige you for a photo if you are polite. But people misuse that and try to take advantage of him. That’s what happened in Mandawa. The same boys are making different groups and trying to pose and take pics with him. Despite instructing him not to wander off and mingle with his fans, Salman has been spotted doing it on numerous occasions.
As a result, it seems a lot of random people have been coming and going from the sets. And, from what I hear, the lax attitude of the security team hasn’t gone down too well with Kabir! But at the same time, you can’t fault Salman for engaging with his fans – after all, there aren’t too many stars who would go out of their way to do that.
