Fifty Shades Of Grey is out in two weeks! We’re obviously really excited for the movie to come out, and as a result of this wait, all sorts of thoughts have been bombarding me. Thoughts like casting Game Of Thrones characters (because that’s my favourite show) in Fifty Shades Of Grey and making a ‘red room‘ of sorts in King’s Landing. Sounds fun right? So check out my wish list, in which I tell you which warrior would be the perfect Mr. Grey or which damsel in distress in Westeros should be the submissive Anastasia Steele!
1) Christian Grey – Jaime Lannister
You might think I’m biased when it comes to Jaime Lannister (because he’s played by the king of my heart Nikolaj Coster Waldau) and you might wonder why Jon Snow hasn’t been made Christian Grey. I’ll tell you why. Jon is a noble, giving and selfless young man whose dark side comes out only during war. Jaime on the other hand, is a dark, twisted and a devastatingly handsome man who actually has a kind heart but extremely kinky sexual preferences (like sleeping with his sister).
2) Anastasia Steele – Sansa Stark
Sweet, trusting and always vulnerable, Sansa Stark is the Anastasia of Winterfell! It’s just sad that she gets pathetic men like Joffrey Baratheon and Littlefinger in her life, while her counterpart gets a billionaire who has a ‘red room‘ in his mansion.
3) Kate Kavanagh – Margaery Tyrell
They’re both strong-headed, ambitious and so gorgeous that men often get tongue tied in front of them. Margaery Tyrell and Kate Kavanagh are the pillars of support for Sansa and Anastasia respectively and that’s why in my Fifty Shades of Grey – Game Of Thrones edition, Kate gets the Tyrell honour.
4) Elliot Grey – Oberyn Martell
Elliot Grey is the older adopted brother of Christian Grey who dates and eventually marries Kate. He’s hot, funny and extremely sexual (apparently he’s had sex with most of Seattle), so obviously he’ll be played by the most sexual man in Westeros: Oberyn Martell!
5) Elena Lincoln – Cersei Lannister
Rumours are rife that Katie Holmes has been cast as Christian’s former lover Elena Lincoln who Anastasia calls Mrs. Robinson (from The Graduate) because of her age. Whether Katie plays this role or not, I’m certain that no one can do justice to this character better than Cersei Lannister if Fifty Shades Of Grey happened in Westeros.
6) José Rodriguez – Gendry Baratheon
Firstly, they’re both hot. Secondly they can both be good contenders for Anastasia Steele’s affection. José is nice but his efforts or advances get dwarfed in front of Christian Grey’s grand romance. Gendry fits the bill when it comes to this guy – at least physically.
7) Mia Grey – Myrcella Baratheon
Mia is the happy, bubbly girl who’s loved by all. Myrcella is the happy, bubbly girl who is loved by all. They’re basically twins in a parallel universe.
