I have always been a big fan of jeans that are ripped for the very reason that they look super cool! Ripped jeans were a big thing back in the ’90s but, you know what they say, fashion repeats itself and I am more than happy about the fact that denims are back. As a stylist and a fashion maniac,  I am always looking out for cool DIY ideas to revamp my clothes. Ripped jeans are something you can easily achieve at home without a fuss. Don’t believe me? Let me show you how to distress your jeans in these 5 easy steps.

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Choose your jeans
Step 2: Gather your supplies to distress and rip. This will include a pair of scissors and a tweezer.
Step 3: Put your jeans on to mark the places you want to tear up.
Step 4: Start cutting and making your holes slowly.
Step 5: Pull out the strands of fabric with a pair of tweezers

Ripping jeans on your own takes a little extra time, but the results are well worth the trouble!
