If there was a national day for fashion, considering the amount of fashionistas that stepped out – Saturday would have been it! The city saw the launch of Behno, a womenswear label, as well as Italia Independent, a range of sunglasses at jewellery designer, Nitya Arora‘s store. While everyone started out at the Valliyan store in Kalaghoda, the likes of Grazia India‘s Ekta Rajani, Nikhil Thampi and Samyukta Nair were spotted trying out vibrant pairs of bejewelled sunglasses. As the day progressed, they moved on to the Chatterjee & Lal gallery in Colaba to witness the arrival of Behno, a range of contemporary clothing making use of traditional Indian tailoring. With it’s clean lines, sleek styles and ‘Make in India’ stamp, the line is one to keep an eye on – because if I have to say so myself, it’s about to make an appearance in every fashionista’s wardrobe.

Take a look at everyone who stepped out…
