As I contemplate starting my novel (yes, there is a novel and it starts like all good Bollywood movies do, with a pigeon.) I remember some advice my pal Priya Kapoor from Roli Books once gave me…
“You must write every day.”
So that is what I’ll do. I will write every single day (just like I used to when I first started blogging) and then my book will come easily. (Or at least that’s the plan, Batman!) For now, here’s a quick recap of all the blogs that you loved most on MissMalini.com all through January 2015. Now sing it with me, “Bigg Boss, Bigg Bossssss” *lol* #nopenotjudgingyou 😛
1. Everything, Boss!
From Imam Siddique “NOT” Replacing Ajaz Khan on the show, to the infamous lives of contestants on the show; including Rahul Mahajan‘s checkered past, Upen Patel‘s sexy shoot with Deepika Padukone, Gautam Gulati‘s twin bro, and Karishma Tanna dating Bappa Lahiri. Eventually, Gautam Gulati fever totally consumed Twitter and Upen and Karishma kissed – sarre aam, sabke samne on National TV – bidding adieu to her erstwhile boyfriend Rushab Choksi (for which a fake Rushab Choksi gave her the royal smackdown on Twitter!) The biggest scandal however still remains the “mobile phone” incident. (And I had TOO much fun live-blogging every single comment I heard about the show.)
2. Deepika Spotting!
If someone has insane airport style, it’s Deepika Padukone. Here are 7 times she totally killed it at the airport and we noticed!
3. Queen B.
After watching season after season of Game of Thrones it was only a matter of time before we started drawing the Lady Sansa parallel with Alia Bhatt. First the hair, then the dress (in which she clearly deserved her own kingdom) and finally the Angelina-leg red carpet display!
4. Soha Ki Shaadi.
Soha Ali Khan married her long-time sweetheart Kunal Khemu and Kareena Kapoor broke it down to White White Face from Tashan! These were our 25 favourite photos from the wedding. Especially the ones where Soha rocked magenta to her reception and Saif Ali Khan and Kareena matched in pink. We couldn’t help it and did a flashblog on all the other times Saifeena looked super-cute as a couple. (We also spotted them at another pal’s wedding, chilling with badi didi Karisma Kapoor!)
5. Ranbir & Katrina’s Secret Engagement!
At least that’s what we heard! And then some people totally mis-heard what Deepika Padukone said about their wedding. *facepalm*
6. Bollywood Ka Bob!
Bollywood belles Sonakshi Sinha and Priyanka Chopra chopped off their tresses in bold as Bollywood bobs early in 2015. In fact even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan flaunted a faux bob for her latest L’Oréal campaign which left the Internet a-gasp till they found out it was a faux and we showed you how to test drive this baby on yourself!
7. Stand Up For Rape.
Vasundhara Kaul delivered a 6 minute stand up set on rape and it wasn’t funny, for all the right reasons.
8. Karan Singh Grover & Jennifer Winget’s Ex-Files.
Karan admitted that he is a complete mess when it comes to break-ups and wants to left alone during such times.
9. Another Shotgun Wedding.
Sonakshi Sinha‘s Instagram was flooded with photos from her brother Kussh‘s wedding. And we did a blog about how she rocked 18 different outfits 🙂 my fave? Her pink Manish Malhotra lehenga!
10. Farah Khan’s Birthday.
Where Sonam Kapoor and her girl gang went dressed like this. And Ranveer Singh chased GF Dippy with a rose, plus the party crew took the drunkest photo ever!!!
11. Aish & Hubby Abhi…
…looked THIS adorable together!

More outrageous still is the fact that the AIB boys had to take down their incredible roast of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor (with epic host Karan Johar) because somebody doesn’t have a sense of humour.
