Saavn (yes that app that magically has ALL the songs you ever wanted to hear, including Falguni Pathak‘s indi-pop numbers) and The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the world’s largest NGO-managed mid-day meal program, announced the launch of #MusicForMeals, a first-of-its-kind initiative.
Now for every hour of the music you stream on the Saavn app or their website, Saavn will make a contribution to feed one child’s one day meal. The donation will be made on a monthly basis to The Akshaya Patra, with a goal of providing hot meals to 5000 school-going children!
