I’ll admit it, I don’t love cricket. I know, how dare I say that, how am I an Indian, wtf!? I just can’t help it, the only thing fun about the game is that there are 11 (correct?) men running after a small ball and sometimes they’re really hot. I’m sorry, that’s just the way it is. But, every time cricket season rolls around, my cricket-loving friends take it upon themselves to drag me and have me watch at least one game. This time, these friends were replaced by Team MissMalini and we headed over to Terttulia at Shivaji Park. I have to admit, I actually had fun – no, not because of the game. It was these things that actually made it worth waking up at 9am on a Sunday and watching India play Pakistan.

1. We dressed for the occasion

Give me a dresscode to brunch and I’m IN!

2. There was actual breakfast AND alcohol

Yes, at 9am! Can’t complain, can I?

3. Faces were being painted

A theme AND face paint? Perfect!

4. We had a cheer dance ready

No really, dance and fitness blogger Nityaami planned the whole thing out. (Learn it here)

5. I wasn’t kidding about the alcohol!

The owner, Imrun Sethi really got us in the mood with these blue yummies.

So all in all, I actually don’t mind cricket – when it’s done like this of course! If you decide to spend your cricket mornings at Terttulia, make sure you try the Eggs Benedict and the Bloody Mary, that way whether we win or lose, you’re going to leave feeling happy inside!

Goo cricket! (See I told you I didn’t know anything!)
