Eina Ahluwalia

I’ve been wanting to blog this since Saturday when my Pocket Stylist Anushka, sent me this adorable note she received along with her birthday present to herself (yes she does that) from Eina Ahluwalia. I read it twice, and as I did, a flood of memories filled my head. Memories of pen pals and handwritten notes being passed around in class. (We even had a special way of folding them up into little packages so you could pop them into someone’s locker undetected!) And then I thought of Leo…

(No Leo, it wasn’t always like that, I promise.)

Point being, we had the time. Or rather, we made the time. And we were nice about it. So here’s hoping we can kick off a little virtual “niceness” right here on MisMalini.com! So what IF we all took the time to do more than hit “Like” on Facebook? Actually took the time to tell someone how much we love them, why they matter and just how much? Wrote it down in fact, like we really mean it!

So here is what I propose; each week on MissMalini.com we will feature special friendships, love and general niceness! All you have to do is send me a note on letsbringniceback@gmail.com sharing a story, memory or reason why you like/love/care about someone and what makes them so nice. It could be something amazing they did, a small gesture that made your day or pretty much anything at all! And I’ll do my best to give them their everlasting 150 characters of fame that will exist in the virtual world for at least as long as you do. Plus I’ll pick a few lucky peeps to send goodies/surprises to, too! Yes?

FYI, if you want to hand write the note and just send me a picture of it from your phone, that works as well! (That way you can send your pal the original and make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside.)

PS. When you mail me, please try to include a picture of them/you both to go with the blog (if you don’t have one that’s ok) it’s mostly the nice that counts. Looking forward to reading your notes! xoxo #LetsBringNiceBack
