One of our favourite YouTube channels, The Viral Fever Videos is the first and only channel in India to reach 1 million subscribers which provides original web content! Their spoofs on Roadies (Rowdies), Ishq Wala Love (Gaane Wala Song) and of course, their Barely Speaking With Arnub series which featured everyone from Shah Rukh Khan to Arvind Kejriwal are things legends are made of. On that note, here’s our list of the 11 best videos The Viral Fever gave us (this is a difficult job because 11 is not enough). Check them out!
1) Rowdies- Sab Qtiyapa Hai
Many spoofs of this show that basically made Delhi boys ambitious have come up on YouTube, but the pioneers of ridiculing Roadies in the best way possible is The Viral Fever’s Rowdies Qtiyapa series! No doubt there, no doubt at all.
2) Gaane Wala Song
This spoof was so brilliant, even Karan Johar and Vishal Dadlani had to share it on their social media!
3) Ek Thi Behen
Raksha Bandhan has never been scarier!
4) Bhagwan Zameen Par
Sachin Tendulkar‘s retirement was the inspiration behind this tribute and honestly, it is far better than the other verbose tributes we’ve seen of the Little Master. Poor IrFAN Awasthi has to forcibly play football when all he wants to do is worship the God of cricket! Also, this video is special for sentimental reasons because my BROTHER FEATURES IN IT!

The rise of Arnub. This comparison of Indian Cinema with India politics with the entry of The Bollywood Aam Aadmi Party as the production house that will change the face of Bollywood was a master stroke!

7) Permanent Roommates
The Viral Fever’s foray into a genre other than comedy and satire was met with a wonderful response. Permanent Roommates is a delightful mini-series.
8) Lage Raho Shetty Bhai
Rohit Shetty‘s expalnation of the law of physics is the reason why I sucked at that subject SO much.
9) TVF Reacts To AIB Knockout – #NoCountryForFunnyMen
AIB and TVF can be termed as rivals when it comes to showcasing original web content on YouTube as they both dabble in comedy, satire and spoofs. But both the teams have always been supportive of each other, whether it’s on social media or in interviews. It was heartening to see TVF come out and support AIB during the controversy behind the AIB Knockout, and this made us respect them more, if that’s even possible.
10) Barely Speaking With Shah Rukh Khan
I think for the first time, a star as big as Shah Rukh Khan turned up for a show exclusively for YouTube where he sat and tolerated Arnub‘s jibes. It’s not that he didn’t give it back though, – he’s Shah Rukh Khan and he is awesome!
11) Barely Speaking With Arvind Kejriwal
Like Shah Rukh Khan, it was the first time a politician turned up for a YouTube channel and listened patiently to the snarky remarks made by Arnub. Arvind Kejriwal showed his fun side to a major part of the population who really needed to see a person who has a sense of humour in a position of power!
