Yes! You read that right! Colors TV’s favorite show, Balika Vadhu, is all set to take a leap of 11 years with Gracy Goswami playing the role of Anandi’s kidnapped daughter, Nimboli, who is also going to be a victim of child marriage. History clearly repeats itself!
According to the current track, Anandi’s daughter is going to get kidnapped as an infant and it is only after eleven years that Anandi will know of her existence (or so we are guessing)! As if losing her dear husband, Shiv, wasn’t enough; Anandi will now have to deal with the trauma of a kidnapped daughter. My condolences.
However, it will be interesting to see how Anandi, who is such a women activist in her village, will fight for her daughter’s rights and save her from this societal idiocy.
P.S- The new Balika Vadhu looks rather cute. I really hope she doesn’t quit this show after 2-3 years for another show and plays a character double her age and worse still, starts looking that old too! I’m looking at you, Avika Gor!
