I’m not passing any judgement on the way the world is being run but I have a feeling these celebrities will do a far better job! They’re definitely different colours of the rainbow but they’re all special little snowflakes in their own way and if they run for office, we’d be REALLY happy. So have a look and tell me which celebrity tops this list. Mine is in random order!
1) Twinkle Khanna
Twinkle Khanna is witty, sharp, hilarious and has her head perfectly balanced on her shoulders. After the fierce piece she wrote on the AIB roast, I’m surprised our national parties haven’t been begging her to join them already.
2) Shah Rukh Khan
Is there anything Shah Rukh Khan CANNOT do? He’d be an excellent Prime Minister!
3) Saina Nehwal
She’d whoop her ministers’ ass if they did no work. Jokes aside, Saina Nehwal has done so well in badminton, we’re sure she’d bring the required discipline to the people she governs.
4) Amitabh Bachchan
With Amitabh Bachchan as a country’s leader, no one would want to go to war with that country. No one would dare!
5) Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is so fierce, her countrymen would obey her every rule without her having to bat her eyelids.
6) AIB
Politicians with a sense of humour – what a breath of fresh air that would be!
7) Barkha Dutt
She went to Kargil in 1999, she hosts one of the best debates we have on national television and she basically inspired 90% of Indian girls to consider hardcore journalism as a career option. If Barkha Dutt can be an inspiration by being a journalist, I wouldn’t be surprised if she ran for office sometime in the near future.
8) Farhan Akhtar
Director, actor, singer, writer… President?
9) Karuna Nundy
One of the lawyers who fought tooth and nail in the Supreme Court to control the government’s intervention when it came to freedom on the Internet. Karuna Nundy is the leader India needs but doesn’t deserve.
10) Arnab Goswami
HOW COULD YOU EVEN QUESTION ARNAB’S INCLUSION? HOW? INDIA NEEDS AN ANSWER!
11) Karan Johar
Because he’s Karan Johar! India would literally shine under his guidance.
